I am utterly fried. The last two days at work have been long, tedious, and chaotic. I feel like I've worked 400 hours already this week. As that is mathematically impossible, I know I'm exaggerating a bit but it can't be by much.
My one bright spot has been the sweet anticipation of seeing a dear friend from home this weekend. This is her second work-sponsored trip to the Bay Area since I moved last year. With this visit, she becomes my most frequent visitor.
Way to go, Bauer! Let's have some fun!
